The Victorian Desalination Project under construction near Wonthaggi will be Australia’s largest desalination plant. Wonthaggi, located 128km south east of Melbourne on Victoria’s Bass Coast, is one of the major towns of South Gippsland. With a population of about 7000, Wonthaggi is a thriving and attractive commercial centre. Situated between the seaside towns of Inverloch and Kilcunda, it is a perfect little sanctuary if you are looking for a seaside and/or lifestyle change. Degrémont Thiess Services Joint Venture has been contracted by AquaSure to operate and maintain the desalination plant and we need an operations, technical and administrative team.
